About ZIPAIR USA
ZIPAIR USA is an independent travel-assistance service for people in the United States flying ZIPAIR. We exist because the airline's low-cost model — website-only support, strict fare rules, à-la-carte everything — works well until something goes wrong, and then a lot of travelers want a person on the phone. We are that person. We are not the airline.

What we do
We help travelers understand ZIPAIR's rules and act on them: booking with the right add-ons, working out the cheapest way to change dates, filing refund and cancellation requests correctly and on time, pricing Full-Flat upgrades, resolving name and date-of-birth problems, and handling baggage reports and claims. When a booking was made with us, we act as your travel agent of record; when it was made elsewhere, we tell you exactly which party to contact and what to say.
How we work
- We identify ourselves. Every call starts with a clear statement that ZIPAIR USA is an independent service, not ZIPAIR.
- We diagnose before we act. Most calls are 10–15 minutes of reading the booking and the rule that applies. Cancellations are irreversible; we do not rush them.
- We quote fees up front. Explaining rules is free. If you ask us to do work — rebook, file, chase — we state the service fee first and confirm it by email.
- We put it in writing. Every agreed action is confirmed by email from Support@zipairusa.com.
- We never take card details to 'verify' a booking. Payment is only ever for a fare or fee you have agreed to in writing.
What we are not
We are not ZIPAIR Tokyo Inc., Japan Airlines, or any airline, airport or government agency, and we are not endorsed by or affiliated with any of them. We cannot waive fees, change fare rules or make decisions on ZIPAIR's behalf. The airline's official channel for inquiries is its website, zipair.net/en/help; ZIPAIR has published a notice about unofficial contact centers that we encourage every traveler to read. The ZIPAIR name is used on this site only to describe the airline our assistance relates to.
How our guides are written
Every rule we state is checked against ZIPAIR's published conditions and dated. Guides link to the official page they rely on. When the airline changes something, we update the guide and the 'updated' date. If you spot an error, email us — corrections are published, not buried.
