ZIPAIR booking help from the U.S.
ZIPAIR is an à-la-carte airline: the base fare buys a seat and 7 kg of cabin baggage, and everything else is an add-on. That keeps headline prices low and makes it easy to book the wrong thing. We walk U.S. travelers through the choices, book as your travel agent if you prefer, and double-check the details that cannot be fixed after purchase.

How ZIPAIR fares are built
| Choice | What it means | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Standard seat | Economy-style seat, 31-inch pitch, 3-3-3 layout on the Boeing 787 | Meals, checked bags and seat selection cost extra |
| ZIP Full-Flat seat | 18 lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout at the front of the cabin | Not bookable for children under 7; sells out first on holiday dates |
| Bundles (e.g., Value / Biz) | Packages that add a checked bag, a meal and seat assignment for one price | Compare with buying items individually — a bundle is not always cheaper for a light packer |
| Flex Biz add-on | Optional package that allows cancellation for a voucher (97% value up to 30 days out, 77.6% between 29 and 7 days) | The add-on itself is non-refundable; no voucher inside 6 days |
| U6 fares | Discounted fares for children under 6 (a seat is required; ZIPAIR does not sell lap-infant tickets) | Age is checked against passport date of birth |
Where to book — and why it matters later
ZIPAIR tickets are sold on zipair.net and through online travel agencies and consolidators. The place you buy from becomes the ticket issuer, and the ticket issuer controls refunds and changes. Practically:
- Booked on zipair.net: you (or we, with your authorization) use Manage Booking; refunds come from ZIPAIR directly.
- Booked through an agency or website: requests usually have to go through that company, which may add its own fee and processing time on top of ZIPAIR's rules.
- Booked with ZIPAIR USA: we are your travel agent of record and handle the requests for you.
Tell us where you booked when you call — it changes the advice.
Common booking mistakes we fix (or, better, prevent)
Middle names and nicknames
ZIPAIR compares the ticket to the passport at check-in. 'Mike' on the ticket and 'Michael' on the passport is a problem the airline will not fix after booking.
Wrong date of birth
A DOB typo that moves a passenger across the under-6 or under-7 boundary changes the fare and the seats they can occupy.
Forgetting the checked bag
Adding a bag at the airport costs the standard fee plus a processing fee. Pre-purchase online instead.
Assuming a date change is possible
It is not, on standard fares. If your dates might move, price Flex Biz before you buy.
Two-passenger bookings with one email
Keep each traveler's contact details correct so schedule-change notices reach everyone.
Orlando charter dates
MCO flights are date-specific charters, not a daily schedule. Do not assume alternative dates exist.
